PowerZone Vehicle Tracking

If your car is stolen it isn’t just inconvenient, it is time consuming and costly. Pinpointing the exact location of your car dramatically increases your chances of seeing it again. (Only 50% of owners of stolen cars do).

Vehicle tracking systems provide the ultimate in theft alert and stolen vehicle retrieval and location. The vehicle can often be located and returned within an hour of the theft. PowerZone supply and install both the RAC’s Trackstar vehicle tracking system, and the police’s TRACKER system. Installation work is carried out by qualified VSIB approved vehicle security engineers throughout the UK.

RAC Trackstar is concealed inside the vehicle and uses satellite technology to aid tracking and recovery. It is cost-effective, the unit being transferable between vehicles.

Two options are available:

Trackstar Standard, which is activated as soon as the theft is reported to the Trackstar National Control Centre.

Trackstar Protector, which is automatically triggered as soon as the vehicle is moved without the unit being first disarmed. Trackstar National Control Centre contacts the owner to advise that the vehicle has been stolen.

TRACKER is an automatic homing device and is operated by all of the UK’s 52 police forces, (including Northern Ireland), leading them directly to your stolen car.

Three versions are available:

TRACKER Retrieve is operated when your vehicle has been reported stolen, and is activated to send out a unique signal which the police can follow.

TRACKER Monitor detects any unauthorised use of your car, even if it’s being towed or lifted away. It then sends a warning signal to TRACKER’s 24-hour monitoring centre.

TRACKER Horizon operates in the same way, but also incorporates a satellite locating device and uses the Global Positioning System to immediately locate the position of the stolen vehicle.

TRACKER is also available for either 12V or 24V commercial vehicles to lead police directly to stolen trucks.
