Car pager alarms are easy to install and use and interface to most car alarms, or they can be fitted to vehicles without an alarm system. This means that it is possible to "upgrade" your current car alarm, rather than buy a whole new system.

If the car alarm system has been activated, the car pager alarm will send a signal and you will be paged. Dependant on model, there will also be an audible alarm from the car itself - although some models have the "silent alarm" features.
